One of series of booklets produced in the 1970s by the Australian Post Office - the forerunner of Australia Post.

This 44 page booklet gives the background to the airmail and commemorative stamps in the pre-Elizabethan period. It is well illustrated with many black & white image.

The booklet does not contain the actual stamps nor provides for mounting them.
